The consensus was clear that regarding Sales &amp; Use Taxes, physical presence should no longer be used as the metric for determination of nexus, and that the Streamlined effort is &quot;ready and waiting&quot; for federal action.

They also discussed nexus related to business activity taxes, telecommunications taxes, and mobile workers - but those other nexus intensive issues are off-topic for our purposes here.
